SEAMAN FINED £125

AUCKLAND, 16th September.
For importing three tins of prepared opium iuto New Zealand, Clarence McGrath, aged 39, a seaman, was fined £125 or six months' imprisonment in the Auckland Police Court.
Walter Matthew Edwards, aged 46, a watchmaker, was charged with unlawfully having in his possession three tins of prepared opium. He was fined £25"0r one month's imprisonment.
