SYDNEY, This Day.
Sir James Parr was the guest of the New South-Wales branch of the Empire Parliamentary Association at an informal reception at Parliament House. The president of the Legislative Council, Mr. Peden, welcomed Sir James Parr. The Government was represented by the Speaker, Sir David Levy, Mr. Ryan, Mr. Cbncannon, and Mr. Bavin.
British statesmen have teen familiar with jfreland, and expresses the opinion that if a Royal residence, even if used only occasionally for sporting purposes, had, been established in Ireland, it would have enabled personalities of the present or late Sovereigns to bo felt by the Irish people.
