Offerings at torday's wool sales were 7562 bales, including 798 bales New South Wales, 848 Queensland, 1652 Victorian, 272 South Australian, 242 West Australian, 3738 New Zealand, and 12 Tasmanian. Approximately 5487 bales were sold. ; Competition was fairly active, especially in the home trade section.
Prices remain steady, yiotorians, scoured "Gibb" brought 17d highest, 169£ d average; greasy "Lai Lai," Is highest, ll%d average; New Zealand's crossbred, "Waikohu," highest 9%d, average 7%d. Half bred lamb slipes, "C.F:M., Belfast," highest ll%d, average 9%d.
