BASKETBALL TOURNEY;
Under perfect weather conditionij the annual basketball tournament, held - each on the . King 1* Birthday,_was played to-day. AH play, ers were very, enthusiastic, and the games were keenly contested. There were .about 102 teams taking part/providing games for over nine hundreii players. The large number of entries required a good deal of organisation, and the tournament committee; is to be complimented on its efficient handling of a difficult problem.'
