CHEISTCHUBCH, This Day. The Canterbury Park Trotting Club's Meeting is taking place at Addington in fine weather. There is a large attendance, and the track is in. good order. Besults:—
Progressive Handicap, of 125 soys; one mile and a half.—l Modern Girl, sciy 1; 4 Toad Bingen, scr, 2; 7 Edith Voyage, 36yds behind, 3. Scratched: Peter Fashion, Wah. Won by half a length. Time, 3min 28 3-ssec.
Harewood Handicap, of 150 soys; one mile and a half.—l Symmetry, scr, 1; 2 Aristotle, 12yds behind, 2; 6 Silver Bingeii, scr, 3. All started. Won by a neck. Time, 3min 20 l-ssec.
King George Handicap, of 350 soys; two miles.—4 Eollo, 36yds bhd, 1; 1 Impromptu, ser, 2; 5 Lindbergh, 36yds bhd, 3. All started. Won by half a length. Time, 4min 20sec.
Elevation Handicap, of 150 soys; two miles. —1 Biddy Parrish, 36yds bhd, 1; 4 Great "Way, 84yds bhd, 2; 2 Gay Paree, 12yds bhd, 3. Scratched: Wan, Huon Voyage. * Won by a neck. Time, 4mrn 35 3-ssec. • - ■■ -.
