MOTOR BUS WRECKED
TERRIFIC EXPLOSION

WANGANUI, 2nd June. A twenty-seater empty motor-omni-bus, owned by Mr. L. S. Weld, proprietor of the Eoyal Bus Service, ■ was wrecked by an explosion at 6.35 p.m. this evening, when standing outside No. 6, Grey street, Marton.
The roof of the bus was blown off, vhe side blown out, and ill'the windows shattered, but the petrol tank and engine were undamaged. '
The torrifle force of the explosion left a hole in the road. -- ■■•• - -
