OFFICER RETIRES
MR. A. A. PRICHARD
Mr. Alfred Alan Prlchard, DeputySuperintendent State Advances Office, retires on superannuation on Saturday ne^t, after 37 years' service. Mr. Prichard joined the Department in 1895, and was subsequently promoted to the position of receiver and sectional clerk. He was appointed to his present office in 1922. In his younger days he was well known on the athletic field; in the .'nineties was; a member of the Athletic Football Club, and was'a Wellington ; Rugby representative for severalyears. . Mr. Prichard joined the New. Zealand Expeditionary Force' in 1917, and was on active service untilthe'conclusion: of the war. •
