The Dominion Wrestling Union announced to-day that the finalists for the New Zealand 1931 Professional Championship would be. Pinto and Alley and the ma ten would' take place in Wellington on tae 23rd November. In making the an-nouncement,-the president, of the union (Mr; H. D. Bennett) stated that since.the series for the title commenced Pinto and Alley were the only two who had not suffered a defeat, and.thus had qualified for the final. On behalf of the union, the president expressed regret that through the fortunes of the game George Walker who; because of his permanent residence in Auckland may now be regarded as a New Zealandcr, missed a chance of reaching the finals through an unintentional foul in one of his matches. The union had, however, agreed to stage a match for the title of the British Empire Championship, and this will be held in Auckland. Walker will be one of the contestants for this title, the challenger being Meeske, ofAustralia.'
