It is understood that Mr. J. D. Ormond, jun. (Reform), who was to contest the Waipawa seat against Mr. A. E. J'ull, the sitting Government member, is to be withdrawn with a view to his fighting the Napier seat as the official Coalition candidate against Mr. W.. E. Barnard, sitting Labour member.
