NEWCOMER ON TRACKS

A newcomer to the Trentham track yesterday morning was a three-year-old brown filly by Gasbag from the Martian mare Dominant, dam also of Green Patch. She has been handed by her breeder, Mr. tf. Curran, to D. MAuley to train. She is of slenderer build than Green Patch, and is taller than many of Gasbag's progeny. Though she has not been previously trained, sha has done a lot of paddock work, and it should not be long before she is ready to undergo her first tests.
