A further wireless message was received from- the Union Steam Ship Company's new ferry steamer Rangatira to-day, stating that she expects to arrive at Port Chalmers on Friday
morning. The following members of tho Head Office staff of the company are leaving by the Wahino to-night, and will greet tho new vessel on her arrival at Port <■ Chalmers: Messrs. Jas. Smith, superintending engineer; J. "W. Mathcwson, acting general traffic manager; Captain V. G. Webb, marino superintendent; Messrs. H. Whytc, stores contro' branch, and L. Den by, chief passengp clerk. •
