SYDNEY, This Day

Confirmation of the calculation by Father O'Leary, of the Riverview Observatory, that the earthquake recorded on the seismograph on 4th October, occurred at the Solomons, is contained in a wireless message from the Island of Malaita^ which reported that a very severe earthquake was experienced. All the European houses and most of the other buildings at Suu werci badly damaged, but no lives were lot.
