The final round of B grade matched under the auspices of the Wellington Chess League was entered upon at Wadestown on Saturday evening, When the horn* team drew with Ngaio, as follows: Wadestown. Simmons, and acknowledged by Mr. J. S. Harrison, who also returned thanks for the hospitality extended to his team. As a result of the above tie, these two clubs arc now; out of the running. The issue is now narrowed down to the Hutt Valley and Karori Clubs, the match points being a« follows:—Hutt Valley 3-1, Karori 2K-IK. Ngaio 2%-2% (complete), Wadestown 2%« 2% (complete). Working Men's Club 1%« 2%, and Wellington C.C. 1-3,. The two remaining matches, viz., ■ Hutt Valley C.C. v. Working. Men's Club, and Wellington C.C. v. Karori, are set down for decision during the present week. • .
