ANNUAL MEETING

Mr. W. G. Lodder presided over tht thirty-eighth annual. general meeting of the Petone Tennis Club last night. About thirty members attended.

The annual report gave :the total' membership as 87, of which :72 were active players. The thanks of < the club' were due to the following gentlemen for donations received during the year, and also for their patronage and support generally;— Mr. A Greening, £1 Is; Mr. Lpdder, 10s 6dMr. M'Kenzie, 10s 6d;Mr. Nash, lIP 10s 6d; Sir Thomas'Wilford, ICC, £1 Is; and Mr. Sturman, £l is for a, trophy to go to the most improved player for the season. This trophy had, with Mr. Sturrnan's consent, been divided between two players,. Mrs. W. T.
