MACDONALD'S VISIT STATEMENT TO BE ISSUED (Received 24th August, 1 p.m.) LONDON, 23vd August. Cabinet met at seven to-night. Mr. Mac Donald, leaving Downing Street by the back door, visited His Majesty at 10.15 p.m., and Temained less than half an hour.- He returned to Downing Street, where he saw Sir Herbert Samuel. Cabinet dispersed at 10.50 p.m. A statement will b« issued tonight.
