SATURDAY'S SUCCESSES

The attendances'at the Wellington Competitions on Saturday -were larger than on the previous days, and the evening's programme,, which was bright and interesting, -was presented to ;a very appreciative audience. Most people knew folk songs, and some of the competitors were inclined to-evade a detailed study of their selection and to depend upon their general knowledge of it.
