SCOTTISH CLUB

A jive seven-mile trail, comprising a mixture of hill and road work, was chosen by Mackie and M'Clellan for the Scottish Club's run at Seatouu on Saturday afternoon. Starting at the Worser Bay bathing sheds, 32 members, divided up into three packs, followed the trail round to Karaka Bay, up on to the hill road, and back to the reservoir. By way of Devonshire road, Broadway, Kingsford Smith street, and the beach-road, the runners ascended the Seatoun Heights, where the fast and medium packs overtook the slow. trom here all ran together back to Worser Bay. A handicap run-in was held over 200 yai-ds, and resulted in E. Jones winning easily from C. Thompson and I. Fleming. Next Saturday the club championship will be held over a 10,000 metres course at Hutt Park.
