The annual meeting' o£ tlie Wellington Caledonian Society was held on Wednesday evening.' -Theao was a large attendance, presided over 'tw Chief It. 11. Nimmo. The .annual ' 'report stated that the society's social i functions during the year had l>een highJj/ successful. A. true Scottish atmosphere had pervaded all gatherings. The bro^ideasting- of the concerts had met with tlie appreciation of listenersin. Under -the ! guidance of Pipe-Major Eraser,- the Pipo Band: continued to ho a valuable asset. iUthough the society had a home of its oiwn, every effort, it was urged, must be mode to meet the obligations in connection therewith. The following officers were elected:— Chief, ilr.R. H. Nhumb; secretary, Mr. M. Gray Nasmithi' treasurer, Mr. W. A. Baudinet; committee, Mesdames Baudinet and Clark, Messrs. Ifi H. Nimmo, D. Clark, W. Smith, R. C. ISiitcher, W. A. Bandinet, A. Kettles, €. Stewart, W. E. Boyd, W.. Fraser, -Ji. '.BtHing, M. R. Price, and J.
