AEROPLANE'S CRASH
(Received Ist November, 2 p.m.) LONDON, 31st October.; Later investigations indicate that the City of Washington crash occurred when the pilot was seeking to make an emergency landing owing to a defect in one engine in bad weather with fog, which prevented him from sighting th« ground.
