An attempt to solve.the problem of unemployment among women is being made by the Home Service Association, which has just been inaugurated in Auckland. . The association's aim is to bring together those needing help in the home and those willing and qualified to do domestic work. The association will investigate the character and ability of all workers who become j members, and will also know the em-1 ployers. Subscription for employers is os and for workers 2s Cd. A number of prominent women are executive members.
