INNOVATION IN FARES
CHEAPER RATES FOR SLACK HOURS (Received Ist November, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. In an endeavour to put the ti'ams on a' sounder footing, the Transport Trust is reducing fares during slack periods of'the day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Two sections will now be 3d, as against 4d, and each succeeding section a penny less than formerly. The Trust also intends imposing heavy-licence fees on motor bus services and eliminating' some entirely.
