CYCLIST KNOCKED DOWN

Mr. Thomas Prout, a butcher, , of Masterton, was seriously injured about 7.30 p.m. on Saturday as the result _of a collision between a cycle he was riding and a motor-car driven by Mr. Terence Falloon, of Bideford. The driver of the car, it is stated, did not know anything of Mr.,Prout's presence until his windscreen shattered and he felt a bump. Mr. Prout is suffering from severe head'injuries, and was still unconscious to-day.
