FOOD AND TOBACCO SHORT

FREMANTLE, 28th March. Two hundred prisoners in Freniantle gaol aro on strike because they allege that there is a shortage of food and tobacco. Throughout the night a noisy demonstration was held and "The Red Flag" was sung with enthusiasm. Tin cans helped to increase tho turmoil.
