A remarkable coincidence unprecedented in the history of Australian aviation occurred at Camooweal late in the afternoon, when Smith and Shiers, bound for London, in the City of Sydney, and Piper and Kaye, on their way to Sydney from London, both landed simultaneously. The meeting in this lonely outpost was the more remarkable because both 'planes were not running to schedule.
