NEW ZEALAND BEEF

ITS QUALITY DEFENDED

EXCEPTION TAKEN TO

CRITICISM

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

WAIROA, "27th March,

Strong exception regarding the criticism of .Now Zealand beef by the visiting British farmers was taken at to-day's meeting of the Farmers' Union.

Members considered that the tour had been badly arranged, the visitors missing the Dominion's finest beef-producing country, otherwise this unfair statement would never have been made.

Such untrue criticism, it was thought, would do great harm to the Dominion, and should be strongly refuted.
