RIFLE SHOOTING.

The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club will fire over' ranges 300 and 500 yards on Saturday at Trentham, the competition counting for the championship, extra series, third series, Newton Cup, Telford Cup, and short range aggregate. The' Petone Rifle Club will fire the third match of the short range handicap series at Trentham to-morrow. The Karori Club will fire the second Willoughby Cup competition on Saturday at the Sommerville Range at Trentham, and the following Saturday will (ire a match against the Greytown Rifle Club at Trentham.
