ACCIDENTS
* When A. Jones, a lorry-driver, living in Ebdentown road, Upper Hutt, was loading a lorry at licrotaunga about 8 o'clock last evening, an axe foil from the top of the load and struck him on the right wrist, causing a severe wound and severing the tendons. After being attended to by Dr. Tweed he was taken to the Public Hospital by the City Ambulance. As the result of a collision between a. motor-car he was driving and a lorry iv Ngahauranga Gorge yesterday afternoon, J. Bishop, a Public Works employee at the Gleusido camp, was taken to the Hospital by the City Ambulance, suffering from abrasions and a severo lacerated wound on the chin. Bishop was thrown through the windscreen. J. H. Andrew, an insurance agent, living at 355, Jackson Btreet, fractured hi 3 right leg last evening when hia bicycle skidded in loose metal at the corner of Jackson and Nelson streets, Petone. He was attended to by Dr. Bakewell, of Petone, after which he was removed to the Public Hospital'by the City Ambulance.
