RANGITANE DELAYED

ANCHORED IN THE STREAM

The New Zealand Shipping Co.'s motor-liner Kangitane pulled out from the Glasgow Wharf promptly at noon to-day, with her passengers and cargo for Southampton, but remained anchored in the stream.

The company stated that a communication had been received from Cax^tain M'Kellar, the ship's master, asking for a tug to be sent out. It was understood that the trouble was not serious, and that the vessel would get away at about 7 o'clock this evening.

Further inquiries were made- by a "Post" reporter, but nothing definito as to the nature of the trouble could bo ascertained.
