Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London agents, dated 28th February:— Frozen meat quotations (prices on a delivered" basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage,, market tolls, etc.):— North Island Down lambs, 28/361b, lOd per lb; 36/421b, lOdper lb; best North Island crossbred lambs, 28/361b, 9%d per lb; do., 36/421b, 9%d; North Island second quality lambs, average 30/3Ub. Od per lb; best North Island wether sheep, under 481b 8d per lb; do., 48/561b, 7%d; 56/641b, 7%d- 647721b, 7%<t: North Island ewes, under 481b 6%d, 48/561b B%d, 50/0411). G%d, 64/721b Gd; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/2201b, none offering. As comcomparcd with last week's quotations, Down and best North Island lamb %d per lb lower; second quality Id per lb lov/er. Lamb market weak and extremely unsettled, consequently transactions are small. Mutton market weaker, holders being willing to. meet buyers oa lower basis.
