WEDDING IN LONDON

LONDON, ISth October. The wedding of Dr.; Kenneth H T lallerman and Dr. Alice Campbell Rose, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Rose, of Otago, took place at the Essex Church, London, oh 11th October. The church was decorated witli palms and chyrsanthemums in autumnal colourings. The bride was in a lame dress, which was gracefully draped. She wore a beautiful old Honiton lace veil, lent by Mrs. Edward Seymour, with whom she stayed prior to the wedding. The veil was held by a cluster of orange blossom, and her only ornament was a string of pearls. She carried, a charming bouquet of white heather. The bridesmaid," Miss Sheila Gheyney, wore a pale green printed silk chiffon dress and a green .picture hat. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and a shagreen vanity case, given her by the bridegroom. The reception was held at la, Henrietta street, Cavendish square, and about 200 guests wero present. They were received by Mrs. Wolf, the bridegroom's mother. • Mrs. Kose (mother, of the bride) was unable owing to ill-health, to come to England for her daughter's wedding. The bride and bridegroom left later for Biarritz, Italy, and Paris. 'The bride's goingaway costume was a black cloth -tailormade suit with oyster satin jumper and black felt hat. A strong medical interest attaches to this wedding. Both bride and bridegroom are members of the Royal College of Physicians. The bride was escorted by a doctor; the best man, ushers, tho bridegroom's stepfather, and the bridesinaid rs father are all members of- the medical nrofes■sion. '
