STOPPAGE THREATENED
COMMUNIST ACTIVITIES
Australian Press Association. (Eeceived 6th August, noon.) DELHI, sth August. A complete stoppage in the Bengal jute mills is threatened through the influence of Communist agitators, which, has thrown idle a hundred and twenty thousand men. Nine more-mills stopped to-day. Forty per cent, of the looms in the industry are idle. The weavers declare that they are satisfied with the-condi-tions, but have been threatened with. molestation if they went to work.
