MUCH RAIN AND MIST
Mild, unsettled, and misty weather has continued generally, rain falling in most districts. There have been further heavy falls on the West Coast of the South Island, and in the Taranaki Bight. A moderate low pressure wave is moving eastward of the South Island, and there are indications that" a cyclone is approaching the southern part of the Dominion. Under these circumstances, northerly winds are likely to continue, and to reach gale force at times in places north of Greymouth and Akaroa. The weather will remain unsettled, with much mist and fog. Bain may still be expected in most districts, more especially in the South Island. Temperatures are likely/to continue on ithe mild side, s"~~~' ' '
