ASHORE AND AFLOAT
DOMINIOF PUBLICITY
(From "The Posts.. Representative.) LONDON, 12th April. The High Commissioner' recently received from New Zealand Railway Publicity Department a number" of copies of tourist ppsters which are issued by the Department. The work of the Department compares very " favourably with the posters which are issued, in Great Britain; and the High Commissioner, through his "PubliQity Section, has been able to give very effective circulation to these posters.
Two of them-—one depicting swordfishing and the other Moari life—are prominently displayed in tho tourist window of the New" Zealand Government, in the Strand, while others attracted much attention at the- British Industries' Eair on the New Zealand Government stand. In addition, copies of the posters have been sent to about 100 shipping and tourist agents in the United Kingdom and are being well displayed. .
New Zealanders will be interested to know that in the first series of cinema films shown on the s.s. Majestic, which is the largest vessel on -the Atlantic run, and which-has recently been fitted up with a cinema, is a very beautiful New Zealand Government film entitled "The Seven Lakes." This showing has been secured by the High Commissioner's Publicity--Section.--- The^ film depicts the beauties of the lakes in the South Island. Other film* will follow in due course.
