N.ieholls, counsel for a young man, aged, 26, in the Magistrate's Court on Saturday. Accused pleaded guilty. to having'; unlawfully converted to his own use a l, motor-car belonging to Goodwin and Cliichester. Chief-Detective '. Lopdell said that the ♦ccuse'd had been etmployed by Goodwin and Chichester untiil the previous Saturday, when he was jvaid off. Prior to that time ho had authority to use the car, but he had no right to take it after Saturday. ; Mr. Nicholls saitl that the accused had only taken the,car for an hour on Saturday evening, and, after using it, had put it back in the gaiage. The Magistrate (Mr. B. Page) imposed a fine of £10, in default one month's imprisonment. -
