WASHINGTON, Ist June. "In the face of the wheat crisis, which calls for world attention," it has become known that President Hoover is exerting pressure for the speedy passage of the Farm Relief Bill, so that its provisions may immediately be invoked to overcome the depression of the wheat market, and sympathetic drops in other farm products, which it is asserted will cost the nation's agriculturists five hundred million dollars.
