QUALITY OF NEW ZEALAND CHEESE
Mr. Thomas Gray, Wellington, writes: With reference to the unauthorised publication in the "Montreal Produce News" and certain New Zealand papers, and the resultant criticism by Mr. lorns, chairman of the Dairy Control Board, of the private letter sent by Mr. A. G. Eowson, dairy produce distributor, Tooley street, London, to Dr. Euddick, Canadian Dairy Commissioner, oa the quality of New Zealand cheese. Mr. Kowson has cabled the following to his New Zealand agent (Mr. Thomas Gray): "Sole object corresponding with Kuddick was to draw information asked for by certain New Zealand factories so as to enable them approximate Canadian quality and thereby overcome price disadvantage. -Withdraw nothing, as bolicvo after visiting factories they appreciate constructive criticism honestly given in preference to praise which cannot' bo substantiated by price returns. He-suit of inquiries .mailed to New Zealand 28th March to factories concerned."
