ARREST ON ARRIVAL
AORANGI'S PASSENGERS
STOLEN NAVAL PLANS

VICTORIA (8.C.), 29th March,
Two men and ono woman, third-class passengers on the Aoraiigi, were placed under technical arrest on the arrival of the steamer here on. cabled instructions from Australia. It is reported that they; are suspected of having in their possession, stolen naval plans. The greatest secrecy marked the investigations, which were made by tho Boyal Canadian Mounted Police and naval officers from Esquimau Naval Station. The three persons wore searched, but it is not revealed whether anything was found.
