Mr. Amery, Colonial Secretary, stated in the House of Commons that he proposed to ask Sir Samuel Wilson, Permanent Under-Secretary of the Colonial Office, to proceed to East Africa as soon as possible to discuss the recommendations made by the Hilton Young Commission for the closer union of Kenya, Tanganyika, and Uganda.
