WARTIME RECIPE FOR OBEY HAIR, WELL-KNOWN LADY GIVES SIMPLE INEXPENSIVE RECIPE FOR STREAKED OR FADED GREY HAIR. Mrs. M. A. Ellis, a well-known resident of Footscray, Victoria, whose hair is still dark, recently mado tho following statement: "Grey, streaked, or faded hair can be quickly turned black, brown, or light brown, which ever shade you wish, by tho use of the following simple remedy, which you can mix up at home. "Merely get 1 ounce of Bay Rum, :J ounce of Glycerine, a small box of Oriex Compound, and mix these up with seven (7) ounces of water. Do the mixing yourself .to save extra cost. Comb the liquid through the hair a couple of times a week until the desired shade results. You need not hesitate to use this freely, becauso_ it is perfectly harmless, does not rub oil, is neither sticky nor greasy, and leaves one's hair beautifully glossy and fluffy and free from dandruff. If you have cutarvual deafness or head noises go to your chemist, and get J. ounce of Parmint (Double Strength), and add to it I pint of hot water, and i pound of crystal sugar. Take 1 tablespoonful four times a day. This will ofton briug quick relief from the distressing head noises. Clogged nostrils should open, breathing become easy and tho mucous stop dropping into the throat. It is easy to prepare, costs little, and is pleasant to take.
