FOR THE BOY PAINTER.

When a window-frame is being painted, it nearly always happens that the. glass gets splashed. To prevent this smear soap over the glass for a few inches all round the frame. When the work is finished a damp cloth will "remove the soap, and paint spots as well, in it few moments. In the same way it is a good plan when applying enamel to x< cycle-frame to coat the bright parts with a little soap. Any spots are then removed easily with a damp cloth.
