Matt. 24:3. We have many to-day asking, "When will this happen?" As then, so now; the words of Jesus are very APT. "Take care that no one misleads you." V. 4.5. AYe have the Greek word, "Maranatha," i.e., Jesus is coming. But before it, we have the Greek ANATHEMA the meaning is explained in 1 Cor. 16:22. "If any man doth not dearly LOVE the Lord let him be ANATHEMA." That is accursed, excommunicated. Who are they who do NOT DEARLY love the Lord Jesus? ALL who will not Honour the Father by keeping the Sabbath Day. Isa. 58:13-14. All those who will ROB GOD of His tithes. They are cursed with a "CURSE." Mai. 3:8-9, Heb. 7:3, 17.8, Gal. G. 6. All who will not submit to the Ordinances of Baptism, Humility. Those who are ashamed of Jesus and His WORDS, The Ten Commandments. Luke 9:26. All those who will not apply the Water of the WORD to cleanse themselves from every spot, or wrinkle; so to be Holy, without blemish. Eph. 5:25-27. We are commanded to "Adorn the Doctrine of God our Saviour IN ALL THINGS." Titus. 2:10. For He sends His angels to gather out of His Kingdom all things that offend. Matt. 13:41. "Prepare to meet thy God O Israel." If His people need to prepare, how. much more the wicked? The Preparation required is very, very greatly under-rated by all such who are looking for the coming of JESUS. We are told that the "Deluge supports the Bible Story." CONSIDER what took place then. "ALL in whose Nostrils was the Breath of Life, of ALL that was in the dry land DIED" Gen. 7:22. Jesus says: "AS it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man. . The Flood came and destroyed them all." Luke 17:26-27. "ONLY EIGHT persons were saved." 1 Peter 3:20. There will only bo 3 "LITTLE FLOCK" to receive the Kingdom. Luke 12:32. It is the greatest "piffle" to teach, and expect all the world to be converted, or that the world is getting better and better. When we are told that "Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." ' 2 Tim 3:13. How very trap it will be that "Our Lord will come and translate His waiting ones to the Mansions above. "But how can the rejecting ones witness the manifold wondex-s of the Book of Revelation when they are ALL struck dead, as they were bj the FLOOD? There can be NO MILLENNIUM for a 1000 years then. The earth must, and will, be DESOLATE as it was in the days of Noah. 1 fully agree with "MARANATHA" in our Lord's Loving Counsel, "Behold I stand at the Door and knock; if any man HEAR MY VOICE." What was that? Except ye repent, ye shall ALL likewise PERISH" Luke 13:3-5. How very many who profess to have been converted but have not changed their wicked conduct? How many profess to have been Baptised with the Holy Spirit; Speak in Tongues, heal the sick in the name of Jesus, and do many wonderful works. But to them the Lord will say, "I NEVER KNEW YOU; depart from me, ye that work iniquity, Lawlessness." Matt. 7:21-23. The Holy Spirit is promised to them that OBEY. Acts 5:32. The Lord can only know us if we keep His Commandments. "He that saith I know him, and KEEPETH NOT His Commandments, is a LIAR, and the TRUTH is not in him." 1 John 2:3-4. They aro ANATHEMA—accursed, and should be changed for MARANATHA or Christ is coming. We do not believe and teach that He may "COME A.T ANY MOMENT." But we say, the time will be too short for many to be prepared for His coming, as they were in the days of Noe. When they knew not (after 120 years of warning), and the FLOOD came and took them all away. Matt. 24:37-39. How very many are denying Jesus to be the Messiah by observing "GOOD FRIDAY, and Keeping SUNDAY?" When the THREE NIGHTS Cannot be counted. 1 John 2:22. Meeting 6.30. Come soon.
