TO-DAY'S PLAY

Greatly improved weather conditions prevailed at Miramar to-day, when the. Easter lawn tennis tournament was resumed.

The following are tho results of this morning's matches: — ' Men's Championship Singles.—C. G. Lezard beat P. M. West, 6-2, 6-3; H. Thompson beat -D. S. Craig,- 9-7, 6-4; N. F. Rigby. beat J. B. Black, 6-1, 6-0. Men's Championship Doubles.—N. R. C. Wilson and K. H. Donovan beat E. A. Roussell and B. Souter, 9-7, 10-8.

Ladies' Championship Singles.—Miss N. Nicholls beat Miss N. Davidson, 8-6, 6-0.

Ladies' Championship Doubles.—-Miss E. Brady and Mrs. Burn beat Miss V. Morgan and Miss N. Leo, 6-4, 6-1.

Mixed Championship Doubles. —R. H, Donovan and Mrs. Penlington beat K. Longmore and Miss N, Bell, 6-3, 6-3.
