DUNEDIN, This Day. A deputation met the Hon. W. A. Veitch (Minister of Labour and Transport) at Alexandra yesterday in connection with the irrigation, asking him to support the proposal for a new reservoir in the Poolburn watershed to augment the supply. The scheme is estimated to cost £50,000. The Minister promised to investigate the matter thoroughly with his colleagues.
