As a politician,. Mr. Uru was not a loquacious man, but in a quiet \yay, without, ostentation or display of- oratory, he worked assidu-, busly and .faithfully .to. satisfy the requirements and to^promote the political wellbeing of his South Island constituents. He had left a good record of work done, and should be an example and an inspiration for Kaiwhakahaeres and representatives to emulate. ..As a mark of respect to the memory of the late Henare.
