■Under the regulations for the award of National Research Scholarships, four scholarships are available for allocation eacli year. TUe Minister in Charge of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (the Hon. H. Atmore) announced to-day that the list of applicants for thi3 year had been considered, and that on the recommendation of the Research Council tho following awards had been made, the subject of the research to be undertaken being given in each case. ■ H.
