LADY SWIMMERS
VISIT TO WEST COAST

WJBSTPOBT, 19th February. by beautiful weather, the Weatport Swimming Association held a very successful tournament in the Municipal baths this evening. The presence of Misses Ena Stockley and Kathleen Miller added to the interest in the tourney. Thp lady champions, who have been here since last Friday, have been the guests of the Swimming Association and friends on numerous motor tours to places of interest, and have also attended part of each day at the baths in Westport and Denniston to instruct school children- in the art of speedy and graceful swimming.
To-night Miss Ena Stbckley competed in the open events and Miss Miller in one event. Their competitors were male swimmers. Miss Stockloy won the 100 yards open event, with W. Kcesing second, and F. Atkinson won the 33 1-3 yards open, with G. Blley second and Miss Stockley third! Miss Miller, who, like Miss Stockley, was conceding good handicaps, just failed to qualify in the hundred. ' >
The taking* amounted to over £56. Manjp were turned away; at the door.
