RACE TRAINS
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —With regard to the running of fast/ trains to Trentham Racecourse on race days, there is oue little complaint i should like to make. No provision is made for the large army of rnciug enthusiasts who cannot leave office, shop, or factory before 12 o'clock. The last fast train for the course leaves Larabton Station at 11.20. After that, if one cannot leave work before 12 o'clock the only traiu is a ,slow one (12.15), stopping at every station, sind eventually reaching tlic course about X3O. What time it is scheduled to arrive at Trentliam is another matter—it does not get there until after I the third race is run (during the winter) Would it not be possible for tlie'Kaihvny Department to put on a fast traiu (in addition to the 12.15) for tho convenience of those who cannot get the morning oil"? —I am, etc., J. CUNNINGHAM.
