MILLS CEASING WORK
United Press Assoclatt'i—By Electric Telegraph- -Copyrisht. (Received Ist Fobruary, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. A unanimous decision to adhere to the previous refusal to observe the forty-eight hour week award of Judge Lukin was given by a mass meeting of timber workers, which was attended by over a thousand men at the Trades Hall. The decision takes efEect to-day. It is reported that 2500 men are affected in Melbourne by tho closing of the mills. All work' may cease at Holden 's Motor. Body Builders, Limited, in Adelaide, and three thousand men be thrown out of employment.
