QUEEN'S THEATRE.
A story of the New York underworld with an unusual twist is told in "Me, Gangster," which heads tho bill at tho Queen's Theatre. Juno Collyer plays the lead in tho part of a laundry girl with high ideals, and her efforts to reform a budding gangster are tho basis of an absorbing film. Danny, the son of a stevedore, is hemmed in by tho environment of the i river dock district, and with littlo incentive to keep him straight, he soon drifts into tho easy way of crime. A greater crime than usual puts him behind tho prison bars, where he is visited by Mary Regan, tho laundry girl, who endeavours to make him discloso tho hidingplace of tho stolen money. When ho refuses to tell, hla fellow-gangsters mako a desperate attempt to reach him. Tho arrival of tho police and their fight with tho crooks make a thrilling climax. Them are good supports. The Queen's Orchestra plays appropriate music.
