"The Royal Society has come out much better than any other . show," said Mr. Johnston, treasurer of the Manawatu A. and P. Association, when presenting the statement of accounts, which indicated that after allowing for payment of two-fifths-proportion of the total overhead expenses incurred by the local association in organising the fixture and dividing the net profit 'on an equal basis, there was a credit of £41 accruing to each Royal Society and local association.
